Positions
Carrying options: Front facing you and front facing out, hip carry and back carry.
Although the instructions state it can do facing forward (4-5 months +) there's not much padding under thighs: this means its likely to be tough on your back after 15 minutes. But that might be all you need!
Alternatives to facing forward:
- most babies aren't too fussed about facing forward at all, so I recommend only using it if the alternative is a very unhappy bub (as it's so tough on your back)
- A hip carry gives a great view plus they can nap, turn away and check in with you (the spreadable shoulder straps give this sling a good anchor on your opposite shoulder)
- And a facing you carry has flat straps that give your passenger a great view
- Once they can sit unaided a back carry can give a view over your shoulder with your waistband worn high, depending on their height!

Bullet points:
- Adjust width of the panel base using the velcro to match your babies' knee to knee width when they're held in arms
- Put on the waistband and cinch up - your babies' bottom will be an inch or two lower than the top of this - adjust to work best for their height (you want their head neither in your chin or in any squishable zones ;)
- Cuddle your baby
- Lean back, holding them to you with one hand and gather the panel between their legs
- With a flat hand, smooth it up their back, letting them 'sit' down into it
- Holding the panel at the top of their back, put one shoulder strap up
- Find it behind your back, pull down to get it snug on your shoulder, and bring it round to clip on your opposite side
- Same again on the other strap
- Done - adjust as needed, and do a quick safety check
