Overview

Onbuhimo carriers are traditional carriers from Japan, worn up high on the back without a waistband. It looks a bit like a rucksack and it is as fast to put on and to take off, and great for carrying an older baby or toddler who can sit up unaided. As it's worn higher, they can usually see over your shoulder, and the lack of waistband means it's a great option for those who are seeking to avoid any pressure on their lower abdomen or hips (or when you're pregnant).

Onbuhimos also fold really small, so are great when travelling, are are supportive enough that they're good for a hike too.

Fit

• Child: 7 - 20 kg, able to sit up unaided.
• Adult: No waistband, so fits lots of bodies really well!

Fabric and washing

Fabric: 100% organic cotton straps and panel.
